Boyle, a 30-year FDNY veteran, joined Rescue 1 in 1979 and left a legacy marked by commendations, including the 'Man of the Year' Award before retirement.
His commitment to public service defined his life, serving in the 82nd Airborne during Vietnam and then protecting citizens as a Transit Police Officer.
