Inside NYC food artist's mission to make hyper-realistic art you can eat: 'I've got a lot on my plate'
Briefly

Harley Langberg, a Midtown Manhattan resident and self-described "food artist," innovatively transforms everyday ingredients into extraordinary food sculptures. His journey began in 2014 after discovering edible art at an exhibit, inspiring him to create masterpieces like a bacon-maned Mufasa and an interpretation of Edvard Munch's "The Scream" with pasta. Over 11 years, Langberg has developed a significant following on Instagram and has been featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not. Unlike the viral 'is it cake' trend, he specializes in savory concoctions using unique ingredients, reflecting a deep passion for culinary creativity.

I look back now and it was so bad! At the time, I thought it was good, now I look back and I'm like, 'Oh my God, I made that,' Langberg laughed.
