During the final competition, several awards will be given out: the Fan Prize for best baguette, determined by your votes the day of; and the Grand Prix for best baguette (first, second, and third places), determined by a panel of professionals who will blind taste the candidates' baguettes. There is also the Specialty Bread award (first, second, and third places).
Bourke Street Bakery, Paul Allam comes from Australia, and co-founded a renowned artisanal bakery in Sydney (on Bourke Street, where the name originated), before crossing the globe and settling down in New York in 2019. Breads Bakery is the winner of the 2022 Best Baguette in New York competition and has returned to the list of finalists this year. Bread Story is an artisanal bakery focused on producing high-quality baked goods.
