Mika Stojsavljevic, at just 15, has showcased her immense talent by reaching the US Open junior final, a milestone achieved by only four other British youngsters.
After a hard-fought semi-final, Stojsavljevic secured her place in the final with a score of 6-0, 3-6, 6-3 against Iva Jovic, a third seed.
Her success marks her as the first British girl to reach the New York final since Heather Watson’s 2009 victory, highlighting a significant achievement.
Scottish teenager Charlie Robertson, mentored by Andy Murray, unfortunately could not progress to the finals after his loss to Nicolai Budkov Kjaer in the semi-finals.
