Co-owner Amy Besa announced on her personal Instagram, that she and her husband and chef Romy Dorotan said it's time to "hang up our aprons, Chef hats and turn off our stoves."
The Spot Bar shuttered last month, having announced its closure on Instagram. It cited rising costs and the culprit.
Manager Nicholas Cohen noted, "I just want to thank everyone for 13 great years. Such great memories...It's breaking my heart, but the only thing constant is change."
Kuppi Coffee Co. has closed after a year. EVGrieve reported that a note on the door said Aug. 31 was the last day in service.
