This brightly whimsical new interactive sculpture is now in Union Square
Briefly

The 'Love Continuum,' a 25-foot interactive sculpture by Yoni Alter, has premiered in Union Square between 13th and 14th Streets. This artwork changes perception based on the viewer's angle, spelling out 'love' from one perspective while appearing abstract from others, reflecting the varied nature of love. Alongside the installation, local businesses will integrate it into their offerings with themed cookies and cups. Additionally, Alter plans to showcase a different version of the sculpture in a historic location in March, emphasizing its significance in celebrating love.
When I created this work, I hoped people would interact with the sculpture physically, exploring it from every angle to unlock its deeper meaning.
This joyful installation is a testament to the transformative power of art, creating a vibrant destination where visitors of all ages can connect, explore, and experience the excitement of seeing 'love' come to life.
