Record Label Claims That Bizarre AI-Generated "Viking Rappers" Garnering Millions of Views are Real People

AI-generated music personas in South Carolina are producing large volumes of Viking-themed content and distributing it across social media and streaming services. Short clips show heavily tattooed, long-haired characters in modern recording studios, mixed with Viking-coded imagery such as wolves, ravens, furs on mountaintops, and battlefields with tattered flags. One persona, Ravnlore, uses warlike branding and Valhalla-themed calls to action, with matching descriptions on Facebook and YouTube. Spotify album art depicts Ravnlore in a dramatic, flame-filled scene, and his release history shows many full-length albums published within a single year. Another persona, Ravynna, is presented as a vocalist for Ravnlore, with songs using similar battle and Valhalla motifs.
