Of Boygenius' three members, Phoebe Bridgers is the only returning SNL guest. She appeared on the show for the first time in 2021, when she infamously smashed a guitar onstage.
Chalamet performed a Wonka-, SAG-inspired song of his own (complete with a rap break about having a baby face) during his monologue. He also revisited his role as an underwhelming white rapper in a sketch featuring impressions of Rick Rubin, Mary J. Blige, and Cornell West.
Yesterday, Boygenius received six Grammy nominations, including nods for Album and Record of the Year for their debut album and "Not Strong Enough," respectively. Boygenius released The Record in March, following it up with a four-song EP titled last month.
