The Godfather Part II and Full House Star John Aprea Dies
Briefly

John Aprea, who portrayed young Salvatore Tessio in The Godfather Part II and Uncle Jesse's father on Full House, has passed away at 83 from natural causes.
Aprea met director Francis Ford Coppola while bartending and auditioned for Michael Corleone but lost out to Al Pacino. He later landed a key role in Part II.
In Full House, Aprea’s character, Nick Katsopolis, balanced the family dynamic with his strict parenting style while bringing depth to Uncle Jesse's family.
Aprea also had significant roles in three Jonathan Demme films and played two characters in Another World, both of whom were killed by women.
