It's something that matters to me, so if we can provide an outlet and an opportunity for you guys, that matters a lot."
Mountain Winery partnered with Goldenvoice and AEG Presents to connect Silicon Valley students with the live entertainment industry. During the May–October concert season, the winery invited students from several South Bay schools to attend events. On Oct. 18, students from De Anza College, Santa Clara University and University of Silicon Valley gathered in the winery lounge to hear from professionals, including representatives from AEG Presents, Goldenvoice and actor-musician Billy Bob Thornton. General manager Ronan Daly organized the event quickly and emphasized creating outlets and opportunities. AEG Presents representatives presented the company's internship program, which began four years ago.
