Menomena surprise released a new EP titled The Insulation, their first new music since 2012. The EP features a different member handling lead vocals on each song.
Original member Brent Knopf left the band in 2011, but Menomena continued with Danny Seim and Justin Harris under the same name. They played their last show in 2014 in Portland.
It's uncertain if The Insulation EP contains previously unreleased material or new songs. Brent Knopf performs lead vocals on the third track 'Caravan,' showcasing the different members' contributions.
