Judge Pamela K Chen in Brooklyn wrote that Shkreli must produce all copies of what is sometimes referred to as the world's rarest album and report the names of anyone he distributed the music to by 30 September.
PleasrDAO, represented by Steven Cooper, stated that the ruling was an important victory, emphasizing that immediate relief was necessary to thwart the continuing bad acts of Mr. Shkreli.
Edward Paltzik, a lawyer for Shkreli, mentioned that the judge's order did not affect the lawsuit's outcome, stating no judgment was made about the validity of PleasrDAO's claims.
The Wu-Tang Clan, after spending six years on the album, desired it to be seen as a piece of contemporary art rather than something for public release.
