A California federal judge ruled that Asha Daniels does not have the standing to sue Lizzo personally, as she named only the production and payroll companies as employers.
Ron Zambrano, one of Daniels' attorneys, stated that the ruling was based on jurisdictional limits of Title VII and FLSA claims, meaning Lizzo cannot be liable.
Asha Daniels claimed her working conditions were hostile, citing experiences of racism and fatphobic remarks from Lizzo's team during her time in the wardrobe department.
Lizzo has previously faced allegations from three dancers for sexual and racial harassment, which she described as 'false' and 'unbelievable,' vowing to address them.
