Lil Nas X was arrested on 21 August after being filmed walking along Ventura Boulevard in white underwear and cowboy boots and allegedly charging at responding officers. The LAPD took him into custody and he was taken to hospital for treatment for a possible overdose. On 25 August he pleaded not guilty to four felony charges: three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer. Bail was set at $75,000 and a judge ordered attendance at four Narcotics Anonymous meetings per week. He posted bail, left jail, and posted that he will be OK. His father said he is remorseful, in good spirits, and will get the help he needs.
