Jane's Addiction unveil new song "True Love" following cancellation of tour
Briefly

The current drama surrounding the band makes the already-sad song even more poignant. It follows the release of the harder "Imminent Redemption," the first new music from the classic Jane's lineup in 34 years.
It was announced on Monday (September 16th) that the rest of the US tour would be cancelled, with Navarro and fellow Jane's Addiction members Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins citing "a continuing pattern of behavior and the mental health difficulties of our singer Perry Farrell" in a joint statement.
The track comes at an awkward time following the cancellation of the group's remaining US tour dates due to singer Perry Farrell's concerning behavior toward his bandmates.
As for the new song, "True Love" sees Jane's Addiction in ballad mode, with soft percussion and Farrell's voice cutting through the mix: "I remember when I first felt true love/ I was very young."
