"The General" was officially released in December following its live debut a month earlier. It's also paired with the band's previous single, "Perhaps," on a 7-inch vinyl version.
The band worked on the video with Dan Potter, the creative director of London-based studio Creative Works. The end result was a collaboration between real designers and artificial intelligence.
