Big Thief announce LA wildfires benefit EP Passional Relations
Briefly

Big Thief has launched 'Passional Relations', an EP featuring five unreleased tracks to assist wildfire relief in Los Angeles. Most proceeds will benefit the Plus1LA Fires Fund, which aids in housing, education, and animal welfare. The EP, encompassing songs recorded between 2018 and 2020, reflects the band's commitment to support artists and community members affected by the fires. The release comes after a change in the band's lineup, as they now operate as a trio, with the tracks largely stemming from sessions for their 2022 album.
Our hearts are broken for everyone affected by the fires in California. We've put together some of our favorite unreleased songs into an EP called Passional Relations, only available on our webstore, and all proceeds will go toward providing relief for those impacted by the fires in Los Angeles.
The majority of proceeds from the EP will go to the Plus1LA Fires Fund, which directly supports organizations working on the ground to address critical needs like housing, education, animal welfare, and more.
