Our music supervisor Tony Von Pervieux shared his vision: 'Two and a half years ago when this project was starting up... maybe we do some covers of Petty songs.' This believes the show could explore a fresh angle.
The project initially started with a goal of ten Petty covers, but it expanded to 21 original covers, showcasing the deep integration of the music into 'Bad Monkey's' narrative.
Von Pervieux expressed his excitement, stating, 'He was always on my wish list to work into a show... Bill's music list... the whole idea was, Okay, it takes place in Florida.'
