Samsung announced the Exynos W1000 chipset to power the upcoming Galaxy Watch7 and Watch7 Ultra, built on the latest 3nm GAA process with FOPLP.
The chip uses SiP to integrate power management and ePoP for mounting DRAM and NAND flash memory. CPU has Cortex-A78 big core and Mali-G68 MP2 graphics.
Samsung claims the Exynos W1000 is nearly 3x faster in opening apps compared to the W930, offering 2.5D always-on display and enhanced watch faces.
The Exynos W1000 is expected to be used in the upcoming Galaxy Watch7 and Watch7 Ultra, possibly extending to the Galaxy Ring as well.
