LG Innotek has secured the entire initial order for telephoto camera modules for the iPhone 16 Pro, solidifying its partnership with Apple as their main supplier.
The initial supply from LG Innotek encompasses well over half of the telephoto modules anticipated for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, estimated at about 70%.
Despite expectations for Sharp to enter the supply chain, they withdrew, leaving LG Innotek as the key supplier alongside Foxconn and Cowell for future production.
With the implementation of the Tetraprism camera featuring a 5x optical zoom in both the Pro and Pro Max models, LG Innotek continues its stronghold in camera technology.
