Foxconn hires 50,000 more workers in China to ramp up iPhone 16 production

To meet the target, Apple's manufacturing partner Foxconn has hired 50,000 new workers at its Zhengzhou factory in China, offering an increased hourly wage up to 25 Yuan (about 4,800 Won).
Foxconn also increased the hiring bonus at the Zhengzhou factory to up to 7,500 Yuan, the world's largest iPhone production base.
Samsung and LG have started mass-producing display panels for the iPhone 16 lineup, with Apple ordering 80 million from Samsung and 43 million from LG.
