"Also note that we reviewed the global S26+, which uses Exynos 2600, while the US model has a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 compared to Snapdragon 8 Elite (which the S25+ used globally)."
Amazon US lists the 256GB Galaxy S25+ at $700, which is $300 less than its launch price. The 256GB Galaxy S26+ normally costs $1,100, but is discounted to $925. A previously noted difference between the models has narrowed because Samsung rolled out One UI 8.5 to the Galaxy S25 and S24 series. The newer S26+ model will receive new software faster and can beta test One UI 9, with support lasting one year longer. The reviewed S26+ used Exynos 2600, while the US S26+ uses Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, compared with the S25+ global Snapdragon 8 Elite.
