Adobe has released Photoshop Mobile, its most ambitious effort yet to adapt its powerful desktop software for mobile devices. Available for free, the app can sync with web and desktop versions of Photoshop, making it versatile for users. While it features unlimited layers and no size restrictions, some advanced tools like vector drawing are expected in future updates. Designed specifically for mobile use, the app emphasizes a user-friendly experience, particularly targeting those who primarily use smartphones for editing.
"Not all of Photoshop is in here, but we're very confident in the foundations that we have that people are going to be able to use," says Matthew Richmond.
"The big breakthrough that made Photoshop on iPhone is beyond technical specs. It's the app's entire UX that...looks powerful, quick, and easy to learn."
