SFMTA parking boss targeted minority neighborhoods, former deputy director alleges
Briefly

Shawn McCormick, the SFMTA parking enforcement director, issued a disproportionate number of tickets in minority neighborhoods like the Mission and Bayview-Hunters Point.
Former deputy director James Lee testified that McCormick would write over 50 citations within two hours in minority neighborhoods, surpassing normal patrol officers' ticketing averages.
McCormick, still in the $216,000 a year job, did not comment on the allegations, while Lee mentioned that ticketing wasn't part of McCormick's job description.
