Preschool and fitness center are eyed at one-time San Jose hardware store site
Briefly

A former Orchard Supply Hardware site in San Jose is proposed for redevelopment into a preschool and fitness center. The Goddard Preschool is set to occupy approximately 21,000 square feet of the 45,800 square-foot building, along with playgrounds planned for the previous garden center area. Additionally, a Planet Fitness gym is expected to take up around 24,800 square feet of the space. This project aims to revitalize the long-closed site and meet community needs for educational and fitness options.
This proposal not only seeks to revitalize an abandoned retail space but also responds to community needs for early education and fitness facilities, enhancing local quality of life.
With plans for a Goddard Preschool taking up 21,000 square feet and a Planet Fitness gym occupying about 24,800 square feet, the development is set to provide comprehensive community amenities.
