The Womanhood Project, initiated in 2020 by Santa Clara County's Office of Women's Policy, aims to honor and celebrate women’s achievements through art. Its recent exhibit, A Journey Through Womanhood, launched in March 2025, features 20 augmented reality artworks created by local women, designed to recognize influential women across various fields. The art will be showcased on markers around the county, viewable via a dedicated app. This initiative builds on the earlier findings of 200 influential women to eventually recognize 100, fostering community connections and enriching the cultural landscape.
