Dublin, was handed a nine-year prison sentence, with the final 12 months suspended on strict conditions, for the rape and for coercive control of Sarah Ryan. The custodial term to be served is effectively eight years. The court imposed strict conditions attached to the suspended period. The victim made a public declaration at the time of sentencing.
