I like Alec Bohm the player... I like his spray chart; I like all the red on that screen. I mean, he's good at avoiding strikeouts, he's good at squaring the ball up, he's got above-average exit velocity. The expected batting average is in the 95th percentile. He hit .280, he's got 15 bombs... But he's apparently had maturity issues and he had to essentially be benched in the playoffs, so I can't speak to that.
I wasn't in the room, I don't know what those issues are. Everybody's issues are different. Apparently, he's one of these guys who goes crazy if he makes an out. I actually don't mind that, as long as you're mad at yourself, but emotional maturity, as we've seen, is a big deal for some guys. There are some guys who just didn't have it.
