"The motocyclist, a woman aged in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body is now being transferred to the morgue in Naas, Co Kildare, where a post-mortem examination will be arranged. No other injuries were reported, a Garda spokesperson said. The road between Kilcock and Enfield is closed for an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators and is expected to remain so until tomorrow."

Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them. Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the area between 11:30am and 12:30pm today, September 8, are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí."
