'Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light' finale: Mark Rylance should win the Best Actor gong at Bafta for this
Briefly

In terms of what viewers have come to expect from a historical drama, Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light does almost everything wrong.
There's plenty of spectacle, certainly, in the lavishly detailed costumes, the intricate set design and the breathtaking use of castles, abbeys and cathedrals across Britain.
The cinematography by Gavin Finney, using mainly natural light and candlelight, is painterly, creating an immersive and atmospheric visual experience.
Despite its lavish production values, the adaptation may struggle to engage viewers accustomed to more traditional formats of historical storytelling.
