Wing and DoorDash have launched drone deliveries from malls in Dallas-Fort Worth, marking a unique service that utilizes drones to enhance shopping convenience.
Customers can order from over 50 stores via DoorDash and have products delivered by drone in as little as 15 minutes, flying at 65 mph.
Despite rising concern over mystery drone sightings across the US, Wing reassured that their drones are safe and have been operating in Dallas-Fort Worth since 2021.
With over 400,000 deliveries globally since 2019, Wing highlighted its commitment to community outreach before introducing drone delivery services to ensure public acceptance.
