White out as Sun head coach after two seasons

"We want to thank Stephanie for her time in Connecticut and her commitment to our organization over the past two seasons," Sun president Jen Rizzotti said in a statement. "We wish her the best in her future endeavors."
During her tenure with the Sun, White recorded a 55-25 regular season record and a 7-7 postseason record, culminating in receiving WNBA and AP coach of the year accolades in 2023.
Despite leading the Sun to impressive regular season successes, the team was eliminated in the semifinals of the playoffs in both seasons that White served as head coach.
Stephanie White previously coached the Indiana Fever for two seasons before taking over at Vanderbilt for six years, showcasing a notable trajectory in women's basketball coaching.
