Ridley Scott's Gladiator II, set 16 years after Maximus' death, follows his son, Lucius, as he battles for the future of the Roman Empire.
The film stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Denzel Washington, and premieres in theaters on November 22, with select showings starting Thursday night.
Scott highlighted that the original film's success is partly attributed to streaming, stating, 'I love the platforms because instead of a film sitting on a shelf...'
There is currently no confirmed streaming date for Gladiator II, but expectations for a video on demand release may align with early 2025 awards season.
