Paul Mescal will make his U.S. stage debut as Stanley Kowalski in 'A Streetcar Named Desire' at Brooklyn Academy of Music from February to April 2025, continuing his acclaimed role from London's West End where he won an Olivier Award.
Co-star Anjana Vasan will reprise her Olivier Award-winning role as Stella, while Patsy Ferran returns as Blanche Du Bois. The original director, Rebecca Frecknall, also returns to helm the Brooklyn production.
'A Streetcar Named Desire' explores the tumultuous relationship between Blanche, her sister Stella, and brother-in-law Stanley, showcasing emotional conflicts that result in explosive confrontations.
Tickets for the Brooklyn performances aren't cheap, with prices starting at $200, and can range up to $555. Fans of theater should act fast to secure seats.
