Westminster Council wants to ban estate agent's For Sale boards
Briefly

Westminster Council seeks to ban estate agents from displaying For Sale signs without prior permission, citing the need to declutter streets amid online property searches.
The existing ban, which covers some of Westminster's heritage and conservation areas, is intended to improve the areas' visual appearance by reducing street clutter caused by the adverts.
The council argues that, with most property searches taking place online, there’s less need for street signs outside homes and commercial buildings advertising their sale.
Only one For Sale sign is allowed per property, which is difficult to regulate in blocks of flats, and they must be removed within 14 days after a sale.
