Authorities for Primrose Hill and the Metropolitan Police are urging New Year's Eve attendees to respect the park's rules by not bringing fireworks or lanterns, ensuring safety and order.
Nick Biddle, park manager, emphasized that large gatherings without permission disrupt the area, stating, "Primrose Hill isn't suitable for hosting a display or for people to bring their own fireworks or paper lanterns."
The Royal Parks highlighted the safety risks, reminding the public, "Fireworks and lanterns are not allowed in any of the Royal Parks, including Primrose Hill," reiterating their commitment to maintaining order and safety.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson added, "This is not an official viewing area. We'd encourage people to spend their evening at one of the many organised events taking place across London instead."
