"VTA is offering free rides on Election Day to make it easier to travel to and from polling places throughout the day," the agency said in a statement.

Free rides will be available starting at 7am when the polls open and will continue through 8pm when the polls close.

The county has many polling places to choose from for local voters. Locate a polling place near you or contact the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters for complete voting information.
