Video. Skating season at the natural ice rink at Lake Weissensee opens

The ice-skating season at Lake Weissensee in Carinthia officially opens with a 15cm thick layer of ice, welcoming around 1,000 locals to enjoy the sport.

Thanks to persistently low temperatures, the ice is solidified enough to ensure safety for skaters, allowing access to the popular 3.5 km ice ring.
