The rehabilitation and extension of the CDUP grandstand and headquarters at the University of Porto, originally inaugurated in 1953, has recently reopened following a lengthy process complicated by the pandemic. This project by Crea emphasized the importance of coherence between existing and new structures, maintaining an architectural dialogue with the historical context. The renovation maintains the grandstand's rationalist style while expanding its functionality with modern facilities for the university, including meeting rooms and offices, all designed with consideration for the original symmetry and aesthetic.
