Two men charged amid a fight at Manchester Airport, but the police face no charges
Briefly

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has announced they are conducting a 'criminal investigation' into the 'use of force' during chaotic scenes at Manchester Airport.
Frank Ferguson, head of the CPS Special Crime and Counter Terrorism Division, said: 'Following our review of an incident at Manchester Airport in July 2024, the Crown Prosecution Service has today issued charges against two individuals.'
We have reviewed all available evidence, including witness statements, video footage, and expert reports, to decide if charges against officers were appropriate.
Based on evidence assessment, we concluded that while two men should be charged, no charges should be brought against any police officers involved.
