During a recent press briefing aboard Air Force One, President Trump suggested that countries like Jordan and Egypt should accept more Palestinian refugees from the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the need for a large-scale movement of people, potentially addressing the war’s aftermath and paving the way for rebuilding. Trump praised Jordan for already accommodating refugees and expressed his desire for a collaborative approach with Arab nations to establish housing in more stable areas, aiming for a long-term solution to the ongoing conflict in Gaza and improving conditions for displaced individuals.
I'd like him to take people. I'd like Egypt to take people, said Trump. You're talking about, probably a million and a half people, and we just clean out that whole thing and say, You know it's, over.
It's literally a demolition site right now. Almost everything's demolished, and people are dying there. So, I'd rather get involved with some of the Arab nations, and build housing in a different location, where they can maybe live in peace for a change.
