"Mr Sheehan died on Wednesday evening at Cork University Hospital (CUH). He is survived by his father John, his wife Margaret (née Coleman) and five children Anna, Ellie, Edmund, Cormac and Davy, as well as two brothers, four sisters and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Mr Sheehan will repose in Hawe-O'Keeffe's Funeral Home in Charleville today from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 4.30pm."
Eamonn Sheehan, 58, of Athlacca in Co Limerick, suffered a fall on a farm in Clogher, Athlacca and died on Wednesday evening at Cork University Hospital (CUH). Emergency services including the air ambulance, gardaí and four fire brigade units attended after a distress call at 12.54pm. Family thanked neighbours, first responders, air ambulance service, paramedics, gardaí and the fire service for their assistance. He is survived by his father John, his wife Margaret and five children, plus siblings and a wide circle of family and neighbours. Funeral arrangements include repose at Hawe-O'Keeffe's Funeral Home and a Requiem Mass in Dromin. The Health and Safety Authority is investigating, noting that over 40% of workplace fatalities occur on farms, with an average of 14 fatal farm incidents per year and 17 confirmed farm fatalities so far this year.
