A gastropub in Romford has achieved a top food hygiene rating of five out of five, reflecting very good standards in all areas during its first inspection.
Following an inspection from Food Standards Agency officers on September 19, Ivy Tree received praise for the hygienic handling of food and cleanliness of facilities.
Owner Remzi Erdogan expressed enthusiasm for Ivy Tree, noting, 'nothing similar is available in Romford' and aims to bring a taste of Mayfair to the town.
The Ivy Tree’s first hygiene rating comes after a successful soft launch earlier this August, despite delays due to technical issues and naming rights disputes.
