Threat of water restrictions amid increase in burst pipes and leaks as thaw leads to record water demand

Uisce Éireann has reported a significant increase in leaks and bursts across the water network, particularly in the greater Dublin area, coinciding with record water demand.

The organization is urging public cooperation by asking residents to report any visible leaks and take personal measures to reduce water usage at home.
