Alaska Airlines is launching new non-stop flights from Seattle to Tokyo starting May 2025, followed by Seoul later in October 2025, enhancing direct access to Asia.
The new routes are a result of Alaska's merger with Hawaiian Airlines, which provided the necessary aircraft for these long-haul flights and is expected to integrate fully by October 2025.
Ben Minicucci, CEO of Alaska Air Group, emphasized their Seattle hub's potential: "From our global gateway in Seattle, we can conveniently connect travelers from across our network as they head to Asia and beyond."
Travelers from numerous North American destinations will benefit from these new routes, along with improved scheduling between Hawaii and the U.S. mainland for more travel options.
