Patsy and her family embraced the design potential of their home by creatively painting the cubbies under their staircase. Initially contemplating conversion into storage, they realized their home had adequate space. Instead of traditional storage, Patsy used leftover paints to add color to the interior of 13 cubbies. Her experience served as a reminder to step outside of comfort zones in design, encouraging others to use similar methods, such as with IKEA KALLAX cube storage, to achieve stylish results without the need for large-scale renovations.
