This major retailer is moving into Staten Island Mall's empty Forever 21 space

Spirit Halloween is set to open in the Staten Island Mall, replacing the previously occupied Forever 21 store, which closed after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The estimated opening date for the pop-up costume shop is around Sept. 1. Last year, Spirit Halloween operated three locations on Staten Island, two of which filled spaces left by Five Below and Rite Aid.
