Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS) was intended for people with disabilities who cannot tolerate waiting in a queue for an extended period of time. I used the services as early as March of this year, and honestly, it was a pretty accessible process for those who needed it to get it.
With the recent changes to DAS, Disney states that only those with developmental disabilities, like autism or similar, can get it. Although I know a lot of autistic people are being denied DAS now, too.
It is disheartening and unacceptable to be denied reasonable accommodations. Although I made this video lighthearted, it is important to highlight the challenges faced.
Tried to stay positive and have a good time amidst this mess... I shared everything with my mom so I did not eat all this by myself.
