An Garda Síochána confirmed they had launched a murder investigation into the case of missing schoolboy Kyran Durnin, who was reportedly missing since August 30.

The Child and Family Agency Tusla disclosed that it raised a significant concern regarding Kyran in August, indicating prior interactions with him and his family before his disappearance.

Tusla revealed that although Kyran was not in their care, they alerted An Garda Síochána about significant concerns, and they have been actively involved in the investigation.

The search continues for Kyran, and the local community is in shock, struggling to comprehend how a child could be absent for such an extended period.
