"You can't find anything in 60 days," Loizzo says, reflecting on the challenges they faced when needing to move quickly after their landlord's buyout offer.
"We both really liked the vibe," Loizzo says, describing the sense of community they desired when choosing to move to Mott Haven, reminiscent of the city from two decades ago.
"I swore I would go out in a body bag from that house," recalls Loizzo, emphasizing her strong attachment to their first home despite moving several times.
"I have a very different relationship with houses, being a carpenter," Molina states, illustrating his view that homes are temporary, which influenced their decision to downsize.
